A male victim that walked into Beth Israel Hospital struck by gunfire has police investigating.
The victim told hospital officials that he walked out of a corner store on Brookdale and Lindley Ave. at around 11:30 a.m. when a dark colored SUV pulled up with one persons exiting and began firing about five shots, one striking him in the arm.
Police are checking that location for evidence of a shooting.
As of 11:51 a.m., no one has heard or seen anything at that location. Police have not located a crime scene either.
The victim's injuries are not considered life threatening.
