Man Shot At Newark Housing Complex

Police found a man suffering a bullet wound after gunfire rang out at a housing complex in Newark’s West Ward this afternoon. 

According to police, at approximately 4:35 p.m., police responded to multiple shots fired called at the Bradley Court Housing Development located on Munn Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man bleeding heavily from his leg after a bullet struck him at that location. 

The victim was rushed to University Hospital where he was treated then listed in stable condition. 

The suspect fled the scene after firing several rounds, according to police.
