An overnight shooting in the city's West Ward has a man in the hospital fighting for his life.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the area of Tremont Avenue and Maybaum Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where they arrived to find a male victim struck by gunfire at that location according to reports.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital where he underwent surgery for gunshot wounds to the chest, arm, and face reports said.
Police set up a crime scene where near the Bradley Court Housing Complex where they search for evidence and a possible suspect.
The victim is reported to be in his early 20's and critical but stable condition.
