Emergency responders rushed to the 20's block of Moreland Avenue to investigate a shooting that injured a male just before 12:15 a.m.
Trenton Police officers arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering bullet wounds and immediately requested EMS on the rush.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment, according to police.
Officers set up a crime scene where they checked for evidence to support a possible motive for the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
