Man Shot in the Leg in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 4:12, p.m. on Thursday afternoon, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Park Avenue and East 32nd Street Paterson, NJ on a report of shots fired.

Police say upon their arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound to the leg.

According to police EMS rushed the victim to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center where doctors treated his injuries and he remains in stable condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
