A man suffered minor injuries after he was trapped inside a Linden garage when the roof collapsed.
According to police, just after 2 p.m. emergency crews responded to the 300 block of Ashton Avenue for reports of a roof collapse.
Upon arrival, Linden Fire Department personnel were able to rescue the man, who suffered minor injuries after the roof of a detached garbage collapsed while the man was inside.
The man was taken to University Hospital in Newark as a precaution.
The incident is under investigation.
