Man Killed, Teen Injured in Passaic Double Shooting

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes has announced a tragic incident that unfolded today in the early hours.

At approximately 3:16 a.m., Passaic Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Harrison Street and Hope Avenue in Passaic.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.

The first victim, a 25-year-old male from Passaic, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The second victim, a 17-year-old male, also from Passaic, was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

As the investigation into this heartbreaking incident is active and ongoing, authorities are working diligently to gather more details.

In their efforts to uncover additional information, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is urging anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward.
