Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 8:15 a.m., on Tuesday, February 8, police responded to the area of Lakeshore Drive in the Township of West Milford in response to a motor vehicle crash.
According to officials, officers located a 2005 Nissan Frontier that had struck a utility pole.
Officials said that the driver, Gary Bartholomew, 77, of Hewitt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other vehicles or parties involved.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
