The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into a deadly shooting in Paterson Thursday night.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of North Main and Arch streets around just before 10 p.m.
Officers found a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds upon their arrival at the scene.
Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and no injuries have been reported.
