Passaic Police are investigating the motive behind a shooting that set a person to the hospital Sunday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. in the teens block of Martha Place.
Police responded to reports of multiple rounds of gunfire that rang out in the neighborhood.
When cops arrived, they found a male victim suffering bullet wounds to his leg.
Police believe the gunman fired about four shots at the victim before fleeing the scene. He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson for treatment and remained in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
