Police are investigating a shooting that occurred this evening in the city's West Ward.
The victim was transported by private vehicle to University Hospital suffering a gunshot injury at around 8:30 p.m.
Police checked the teens block of Sunset Avenue for a crime scene.
The victim's injuries have not been reported as life threatening at this time.
The motive for the shooting has not been released.
