Police are looking for several male suspects who reportedly attacked a man in Orange overnight.
EMS rushed the man to University Hospital in Newark suffering a serious stab injury that occurred before 9:30 p.m. that now has the man in stable condition.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the vicinity of 322 Central Avenue where they found the victim bleeding from the side at that location.
Authorities believe that several male suspects approached the victim and attempted to rob him when the victim engaged in a fight with the suspects.
During the physical altercation, the victim was stabbed by one of the men causing the injury.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. There were no reports of arrests.
