Shots fired sent Newark police to the souther part of the city where a man was found laying faced down in a parking lot a little after 5:30 am. Police scoured the area for evidence and set up a crime scene at the intersection. Unconscious and unresponsive, the victim was rushed to UMDNJ in reportedly grave condition suffering from traumatic arrest a result from the gun shot wounds. Police are investigating.
