Police in Paterson are looking into the motive for a shooting that seriously injured a male at a location in the city Tuesday morning.
According to police, offcials at St. Joseph's Hospital notified them when a male entered the emergency room, suffering multiple bullet wounds.
Police say before the notification by the hospital, they received a ShotSpotter activation in the 200 block of 12th Avenue where they arrived and set up a crime scene to check for evidence.
The victim's injuries were only reported as serious.
Police say the suspect remains at-large.
