Police in Newark are investigating a shooting that left a man injured this evening.
Gunfire rang out in the teens block of Belmont Terrace shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police arrived to the scene and conducted a thorough where they found the victim shot multiple times at that location. EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in critical condition.
