A male victim suffering injuries from apparent gunfire who entered the University Hospital's emergency room late last night has police investigating.
The victim arrived at the hospital at around 10:15 p.m. suffering injury from gunfire when he reportedly to officials that he was shot somewhere in the 40's block of Van Ness Place.
Police were called to the hospital where they began an investigation. The victim's injuries were not reported to by life threatening.
In a separate incident, gunfire rang out in the 20's block of Columbia Avenue where police arrived to find multiple shell casings at the scene but no victims.
There were vehicles reportedly struck by bullets at that location.
