Police officials in Newark are reporting the arrest of Mr. Nelson Soto, 34, of Newark, who was charged with a burglary that occurred on July 10, 2021.
Officials said Newark Police officers responded to a call about a burglary around 3:30 a.m. on Mt. Pleasant Avenue.
Upon arrival, the victim told officers that an unknown man, who was later identified as Soto, broke into his apartment through a bedroom window.
Officials have not said what if anything Soto took during the alleged burglary.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
