East Orange Police are investigating a shooting that injured a male this evening in the city.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the 40’s block of New Street around 4 p.m. sending police to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle and are at-large.
