Trenton authorities are investigating an armed robbery that left the victim struck by gunfire at a location in the city on Monday night.
According to police, the broad-daylight armed robbery occurred in the vicinity of 750 Brunswick Street just before 5:25 p.m.
Police say the armed suspect approached the victim and demanded personal possessions.
According to police, while the victim attempted to handover items, the suspect fired at the victim, striking him in the leg.
EMS transported the unidentified male to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
