Passaic County authorities are investigating a shots-fired incident that injured a male in Paterson on Saturday morning.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of McBride and Murray avenues at approximately 1:30 a.m., sending officers to the scene where they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
Police say the victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, where doctors treated the injury that was considered non-life threatening.
Police canvased the area for a crime scene and possible suspect, but no arrests have been reported.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
