There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a male found suffering a bullet wound in a neighborhood in Jersey City.
According to police, just before 11 p.m., they received reports of an injured person in the vicinity of 191 Van Norstrand Avenue.
When police arrived, they found the unidentified victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
Police say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
