There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a male found shot in a section of Passaic Tuesday night.
According to police, just before 9:10 p.m., gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Madison Street and Gregory Avenue, sending officers to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, they found the 22-year-old victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and remained in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
