Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect who fired off several rounds on a city street that connected on a person overnight.
It happened in the single digit block of North Bridge Street before 1:30 a.m. where reports of shots fired sent police to the scene to investigate according to The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Upon their arrival, officers found the unidentified 44-year-old man bleeding from the face after a bullet struck him according to the prosecutor’s office.
EMS transported the victim to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center where doctors began to treat serious injuries.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been reports.
