Police in Jersey City are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a male on Sunday evening.
The victim was found suffering a bullet wound in his stomach around 5:20 p.m. in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Forrest Street.
Police say the unidentified male was transported to Jersey City Medical Center and the extent of his condition has not been reported as life-threatening at this time.
No information was available on a suspect apprehended.
The investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing.
