Authorities have released the identity of the 44-year-old Linden woman who was one of two people struck by a vehicle Friday.
The woman killed in Friday’s auto-pedestrian crash has been identified as 44 year-old Linden resident Sayoko Rosello. The other victim, a 54 year-old Linden man, remains in critical condition at Newark University Hospital.
As previously stated, the driver was only identified as a 35-year-old man from Edison; no further information about his identity will be released unless he is criminally charged in the crash.
No charges have been filed to date, though the crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.
