Aristacare at Delaire honored their resident and staff military veterans on Nov. 12th with a ceremony and celebration in their first annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony.
Guest speakers Linden Mayor Derek Armstead, Officer Vasquez of the Linden Police Force and Renee Purzansky of Aristacare thanked the veterans for their sacrifice and service to our country.
The eight long term care residents and one employee of Aristacare were individually thanked and presented with a pin, certificate, rose, and hat in commemoration of their service in the armed forces. Office Vasquez, a military veteran was also honored for his own service.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the Fallen Soldiers table representing all of our lost and missing soldiers and a moment of silence for all those we have lost.
The event was attended by residents, family members, members of the Linden community, the Mayor and Chief of Police David Hart who came together to celebrate those who fought for our country.
