Linden Police to Participate in “No Shave November”, “Nails for November”

Linden

Chief David Hart joined Linden Police Benevolent Association Local #42 President Joseph Appello and Linden Police Superior Officers Association President Joseph Birch to announce that the Department will once again participate in “No Shave November” and “Nails for November.”

No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. “Nails for November” is an alternative for female employees wishing to participate.

The Department first participated in the event in 2018 and has since donated $10,000 to selected charities.

“No-Shave November/ Nails for November is a fun and creative way to raise cancer awareness,” said Chief Hart. “It has really “grown” on us, and across the board, we really look forward to participating each year.”
