Linden Police Department Secretary Raises Over $2K for 'The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia'

Hundreds came together yesterday for 'The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia' which was held at the Oak Ridge Golf Course in Clark.

According to studies, in the United States every six minutes a mother and baby face life or death consequences as a result of preeclampsia.

The walk which is organized to raise awareness and collect funds for medical research of this life-threatening condition.

In honor of May being designated as Preeclampsia Awareness Month, the Linden Police Department sponsored Stephanie Feuerschwenger, a secretary at the Linden Police Department.

Her team, in its first year, raised over $2,200.00.

Over 350 people registered for the event.
