EMS rushed a critically injured victim of a shooting to the hospital after gunfire erupted in Trenton.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 30's block of Powers Street before 2:45 a.m. where they found the unconscious and unresponsive victim at that location.
Detectives for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office were called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
