BREAKING BRIDGEWATER NJ: There are life threatening injuries being reported for a victim of a raging 2-alarm fire that broke out in a house located in the 600 block of Bridgewater Ave. early this morning.
Heavy smoke and fire broke out inside the residence at around 6:50 a.m. sending firefighters to the scene where they were informed that at least one person was trapped in the single family home.
A search of the residence had fire crews locate the victim who was badly hurt according to initial reports from the scene.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in about an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
