Life Threatening Injuries Reported for Victim Struck by Car on Vehicle on NJ-36 in Eatontown
Authorities are reporting life-threatening injuries for a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on a roadway in Eatontown Saturday.
Police said the early morning incident happened at approximately 3:35 a.m. on NJ-36 near the PC Richards electronics store.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the severely injured unidentified person lying in the roadway after a car struck them then left the scene, according to police.
Police closed NJ-36 in both directions for the active and ongoing accident investigation.
