In Trenton, authorities are investigating a pedestrian strike that sent a person to the hospital in critical condition on Sunday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a person down in the vicinity of 456 Genessee Street.
Emergency responders arrived and found a badly injured, unidentified person lying on the ground at that location.
Police say the victim was administered CPR while EMS rushed them to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment, where officials said the victim's injuries are life-threatening.
The Trenton Police Department will handle the investigation.
