Hudson County authorities closed a portion of a buy road to investigate a pedestrian strike that severely injured a person in North Bergen Saturday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. near the intersection of 86th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Police arrived at the scene and located the injured male lying on the ground after a vehicle struck him at that location.
The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment while police continued the on-scene investigation with the driver, who remained at the location.
John F. Kennedy Boulevard from 85th to 86th Street was closed for the investigation.
