Somerset County authoritities are looking into a shooting inside that sent one person to the hospital late Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, [olice responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 1023 US-22 at around 11:15 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene found the unidentified victim suffering a gunshot wound in the chest at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital suffering severe injuries.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and there were no reports of arrests at this time.
