Life Threatening Injuries for Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Totowa

There were life-threatening injuries immediately reported for a pedestrian struck by a car in Totowa on Thursday evening.

According to preliminary reports, it happened at the intersection of Union Blvd and Boyle Avenue where a police officer who was on the scene of a previous crash contacted headquarters when he noticed a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at that location.

EMS rushed to the scene and transported the severely injured, unidentified person to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment.

Detectives from The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office were called to the scene to assist in the investigation which is in its early stages according to police.
