Passaic County authorities are looking into a shots-fired incident that connected on a male in Paterson early Saturday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1 a.m., gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 168 Getty Avenue sending police to the scene where officers found a male victim struck by bullets at that location.
Police say the unconscious, unresponsive and unidentified male was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital where doctors provide life-saving techniques.
According to police, the suspects fled in an SUV that was located unoccupied in the area od Gould and Main streets a short time later.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
