Khem Fest Celebrates Black Animation, Creative Comics at Livingston Mall

The annual Khem Fest is back for its seventh year on Friday and Saturday, September 18-19, at Livingston Mall in Livingston from 12 pm - 6 pm.

Officials said preceding Khem Fest will be the third annual Khem Animation Film Festival (KAFF) Awards Ceremony at 3:00 p.m.  Community

PBS Media and Musuyanama Women’s group have teamed up to bring you this all-ages celebration of Black Animation, Gaming, Comic Book Creators and more!

Jam-packed with panels, workshops, gaming and animation screenings throughout the day, officials said they are proud to partner with Science Park High School, Livingston Township, Videogames Hip Hop & Sports (VHS), P&G Bank, The TKB Report and Livingston Mall, a place providing the perfect stage for Khem Fest and the Khem Animation Film Festival (KAFF).

KAFF celebrates the work of up-and-coming animation filmmakers while also serving as an incredible opportunity for networking.

Offerings include game development seminars, STEM LAB, 3D printing, a comic book marketplace, panel discussions, video gaming lounge, student showcase, art galleries and more.

Thousands of attendees have participated in Khem Fest in the past six years and they look forward to welcoming you.
