A foot pursuit of a man who was believed to be in possession of a gun had police in Kenilworth arresting the man late last night.
The incident happened in the 300 block of Lincoln Drive shortly before 11 p.m. where residents alerted police of a man who was possibly armed in the area.
Police units spotted the man and attempted to question him when he began to run.
A physical struggle occurred when officers caught up with the suspect as he reportedly began to resist arrest according to reports.
Police were abe to place the man in custody without any injuries reported.
A weapon was found in the man's possession reports said.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
