An early morning shooting in Paterson sent a juvenile to the hospital.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 200 block of 12th Ave. at a round 2:55 a.m. where units arrived to find a male victim shot at that location.
EMS arrived a short time later where they transported the victim (who was reported to be around 17-years-old) to St. Josephs Hospital suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a bullet entered the residence through a window and struck the victim. A shell casing was reportedly located inside a bedroom of the residence suggesting possible return gunfire.
The investigation is being handled by the Paterson Police Department.
