Jersey City Police are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile injured in the city Friday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Winfield Avenue between Martin Luther King Drive and Old Bergen Road to search for a crime scene after the unidentified teenager said he was in the area when gunfire rang out.
The condition of the victim was not reported as life-threatening and the suspect remains at-large.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
