Jersey City Woman Wanted for Questioning in Newark Shooting

Police seek the public’s assistance in locating Ms. Jocelyn Adams, 39, of Jersey City, who they say is wanted for questioning in a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday, June 21st.

According to a statement released by police, at approximately 1 a.m., police responded to a residence on Ridgewood Avenue, near Clinton Avenue, on a call of shots fired.

Police say Adams left the scene before officers arrived.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Adams as wanted for questioning in the incident according to police.

While police are actively seeking Adams for questioning, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating her.
