Authorities in Hudson County are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy injured overnight in Jersey City.
According to preliminary reports, police are working to determine the location of the shooting as the 17-year-old victim has been uncooperative with investigators.
The incident came to light around midnight when officials at Jersey City Medical Center notified police after the teen arrived at the emergency room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
As detectives work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting, no additional details have been released at this time.
