Jersy City Police are investigating a shots fired incident that caused property damage in the city Thursday evening.
Gunfire erupted in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive just before 7 p.m. sending police to the scene where they arrived to find bullets pierced through the window of a building.
Police say a black SUV carrying two black male suspects arrived at the location and began to fire shots in the area before speeding away in the vehicle.
The vehicle was last observed heading towards Grand Street.
There were no reports of injuries.
