EMS transported a male shooting victim to Jersey City Medical Center after gunfire rang out in the city late last night.
Police responded to the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Claremont Avenue on reports of shots fired shortly before 12:40 a.m. where officers located a male victim suffering injury from gunfire at that location.
The victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the hip and was reported in serious condition according to reports.
A short time later, a male victim was transported by private vehicle to the hospital where he suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
The victim reported to authorities that he was struck by gunfire in the area of Martin Luther King and Grant Avenue.
There were no immediate reports of arrests made.
