On Tuesday night, one person suffered non-fatal injuries in a shooting incident in Jersey City.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 761 Ocean Avenue around 9:43 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his ankle.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police believe that the suspect fired at the victim and then fled the scene in a silver Chevy Impala.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
