Jersey City Police are on the search for the suspect who fired a gun in a neighborhood that struck a male late Tuesday night.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Bidwell and Garfield avenues at approximately 11 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found an alert and conscious male suffering a bullet wound in the back of his head, according to reports.
EMS rushed the unidentified victim to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police stayed at the scene, searching for evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
The suspect remains at-large.
