One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $151,858 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Saturday, Feb. 16th drawing.
The winning numbers were: 10, 12, 19, 34 and 37 and the XTRA number was: 02. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Garden State News, 1620 Lemoine Ave., Fort Lee in Bergen County.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Garden State News. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
Carey announced that there were 277,591 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 43 ticketholders won $526 each and 9 others won $1,052 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,615 ticketholders won $15 each and 324 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 3,901 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
