Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Irvington overnight.
Gunfire erupted on Nesbitt Terrace sending police to the scene at around 2:45 a.m. where officers found the victim suffering injuries after being shot at that location.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital in stable condition.
The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
