EMS transported one person to the hospital after gunfire erupted on street in Paterson striking the victim.
According to Paterson Police officials, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation that detected about 15 rounds of gunfire that rang out in the vicinity of 79 North Main Street.
Police officers arrived at the scene found the unidentified victim struck by a bullet to the leg at that location.
The victim was rushed to St. Josephs Medical Center where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the shooter remains at-large.
