The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a shooting incident in the city of Passaic that left three people wounded Sunday night.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or details regarding their conditions.
However, preliminary information indicates that gunfire erupted at approximately 9:10 p.m. in the area of 79 Sherman Street, prompting a heavy police response.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located multiple victims suffering injuries.
The wounded individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Detectives from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the scene and have taken over the active and ongoing investigation.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
